Calculate banner area without surprises
Banner area in square feet equals height in feet multiplied by width in feet. If you start in inches, multiply height by width and divide by 144. A 4 × 8 ft banner covers 32 square feet; a 3 × 6 ft banner covers 18 square feet.
The calculator can show a price estimate only when a matching current product rule is available from the store. The editor and checkout confirm the actual print price, tax, shipping and any applicable options.
| Height × width | Area | Width-to-height ratio |
|---|---|---|
| 2 × 4 ft | 8 sq ft | 2:1 |
| 3 × 6 ft | 18 sq ft | 2:1 |
| 4 × 8 ft | 32 sq ft | 2:1 |
| 4 × 10 ft | 40 sq ft | 2.5:1 |
Check the design shape as well as the size
A square photograph does not fill a 2:1 banner without either cropping or empty space. Use Fit to keep the entire image, or Fill to crop edges, then inspect the preview. Rebuild text and background into a wider layout when cropping would remove something important.
Keep small text and important artwork away from the edges and planned grommet positions. Choose the actual mounting method for the location, and check the selected grommet count in the editor.
Production and delivery are separate
Paid, print-ready orders submitted by 6 PM Central Time qualify for same-day production on business days, excluding holidays and closures. An artwork problem can require correction before production.
Free pickup is at 11500 S Main St #126, Houston, TX 77025. Wait for the pickup-ready message before visiting. For shipping, review the available carrier estimate in checkout; the production deadline is not a promise of same-day delivery.
