Choose the format for the job
The current print-artwork flow accepts PNG, JPG, WebP, supported single-page PDF and HEIC/HEIF files. PDF and HEIC use conversion, so the resulting preview is part of your file check.
| Format | Useful for | Check before ordering |
|---|---|---|
| PNG | Artwork that needs transparency | The background is genuinely transparent |
| JPG / JPEG | Photos and opaque artwork | Any background rectangle will remain |
| WebP | Supported raster artwork | Transparency and fine detail |
| Single-page PDF | A finished one-page design | Converted page, fonts and dimensions |
| HEIC / HEIF | Phone photographs | Converted orientation, crop and sharpness |
Choose the original on your phone
Use the original photo or an exported design file from your gallery or Files app. A screenshot can include interface elements, reduce detail and replace transparency with an opaque background. A messaging-app copy may also differ from the original.
If you keep artwork in cloud storage, let the original finish downloading before selecting it. After upload, check orientation, background and the smallest text. If the result is wrong, go back to the original export rather than repeatedly saving the preview.
Check both bytes and pixels
Current artwork uploads must be non-empty and no larger than 20 MB. Raster images are also limited to 40 megapixels. A compressed file can be small in bytes but exceed the pixel limit; a detailed PNG can meet the pixel limit but be too large in bytes.
For document printing with several pages, use A4 Printing and check the detected page count and copies. The general design upload is not a way to order a multi-page document as one transfer. Keep a copy of your original and inspect any converted result before payment.
Common questions
Can I upload an Illustrator or SVG file directly?
Those are not listed in the current general artwork uploader. Export to a supported format and review the result, or contact the shop if you need another workflow.
Will conversion improve a blurry source?
No. Conversion changes the usable format; it does not recover missing detail or repair an unsuitable design.
