A4 PDF & Word Printing: Page Size, Copies and Uploads

A document order is priced by the pages you actually choose to print. Upload a PDF, Word document or photos to A4 Printing, review the detected pages and set copies before adding the job to your cart.

Prepare the document for A4 paper

A4 is approximately 8.27 × 11.69 inches. US Letter is 8.5 × 11 inches, so the two page shapes are different. A document designed for Letter can need a layout change before it is ready for A4.

Open the original document, select A4 page setup and review page breaks, margins, tables and orientation. A PDF preserves a reviewed layout. Selecting A4 Printing does not promise that text will be reflowed or a Letter layout redesigned.

You can upload a Word DOCX or DOC directly. The service converts it to a private PDF and shows the resulting pages before you can add it to the cart. Check every font, table and page break: conversion can change layout when a source font is unavailable. Keep the editable original; if the result differs, export your own PDF and upload that instead.

Upload the file and choose print options

The A4 workflow accepts PDF, Word DOCX/DOC and PNG, JPG or WebP images, with a current limit of 50 MB per file and up to 50 files in one print job. Multi-page PDFs and Word documents are supported here. Each image counts as one page; a photograph containing several document pages is still one uploaded image.

Wait for every upload and Word conversion to finish, then compare the detected page count with the original. Review all page previews, including the final page. If a protected or damaged file cannot be opened, save a working copy without password protection and upload that copy. A failed Word preview must be retried or removed before continuing.

Count the printed pages you will receive

Use Copies of every page for an identical count throughout, or adjust individual pages. Set a page to 0 to skip it. A three-page PDF with two copies of every page produces six printed pages. If the page counts are 2, 0 and 3, the job contains five printed pages.

The current workflow prints each selected page or photo on its own sheet. Check the displayed printed-page total, selected paper and color mode, and current price before adding to your cart. Changing a copy count changes the job total; the number of uploaded files alone does not describe it.

Review the cart and delivery options before payment. For Houston pickup, wait for the pickup-ready confirmation before visiting. Production and carrier delivery are separate stages.

Common questions

Can I upload a PDF with several pages?

Yes. Use the A4 Printing document workflow, wait for the upload to finish and check every detected page and its copy count. General product artwork uploads use a different single-page PDF workflow.

Does a three-page PDF with two copies mean two printed pages?

It means six printed pages when every page has two copies. Check the individual counts and displayed total, especially if you skip a page or give different pages different quantities.
