What will the design go on?
For a shirt or tote, start with a DTF transfer and a suitable heat press. For a smooth hard object such as glass, start with UV DTF. A vinyl sticker is another choice when you want a printed sticker with its own material and cut edge.
| Your project | Start here | What you need |
|---|---|---|
| Garment or fabric project | DTF transfer | Your garment and a heat press |
| Smooth hard surface | UV DTF transfer | Your clean, dry item |
| Packaging, laptop or giveaway sticker | Die-cut vinyl sticker | A suitable surface for the sticker |
A transfer order is not the finished item
DTF transfers arrive on film; a shirt is not included. UV DTF transfers also arrive on transfer film; a cup is not included. If you want a finished printed cup, choose the Glass Can Cup product instead of a transfer.
Check the product name in your cart. A photograph of a transfer on a cup or shirt explains its use; it does not change what your selected product includes.
Then choose individual designs or a sheet
Order by size when you want a straightforward quantity of one design. Choose a gang sheet when you want to arrange several designs together. A gang sheet changes the layout and ordering format, not the intended application surface.
- DTF gang sheets still need a heat press.
- UV DTF sheets still need a suitable hard surface.
- Cutting options do not turn a UV transfer into a fabric transfer.
- Measure your own item; a reference size is only a starting point.
Common questions
Can I use UV DTF on a shirt?
Choose DTF transfers for fabric. The UV DTF products here are intended for smooth hard surfaces, not a substitute for garment transfers.
Can the same design work in both products?
You can start from the same artwork, but check its size, background and small details separately for each application. The product and surface still need to match.
