Sticker artwork preparation

Prepare Artwork for White-Edge Die-Cut Stickers

A clean artwork file helps you review the sticker you actually want. Think about the outside silhouette, interior white areas and any separate details before uploading.

Decide what should be printed

A white rectangle in a JPEG is part of the image, not transparent space. If you only want the logo shape, start with an original PNG that has the intended transparent background. Do not rely on a filename containing the word transparent.

White lettering and white parts of an illustration can be intentional artwork. Removing every white pixel can destroy those details. Compare the file on light and dark backgrounds before exporting it.

Check the outer silhouette

Our die-cut sticker product has a thin white edge around the design. Picture that edge at the final size. Small islands, tiny punctuation marks or a detached tagline can make the intended overall shape less obvious.

Review the preview and contact the shop if you need a particular connected outline. Do not assume that separate pieces will be joined, or that a vector cutline in an unsupported file format will automatically control the cut.

  • Keep text and important details comfortably inside the intended shape.
  • Look for accidental marks far outside the logo.
  • Check whether a background rectangle is deliberate.
  • Keep a copy of the editable original in case the layout needs revision.

Export for the actual finished size

Choose the print dimensions before judging resolution. A logo that is clear on a phone can become soft when enlarged. Check its pixel dimensions against the actual inches in the resolution tool, then inspect small text and edges in the print preview.

The shop accepts raster images and supported single-page PDF or HEIC conversions within its current limits. Do not upload a screenshot of an editing app or a photograph of your screen. Export the artwork itself, and check the converted result before paying. Shape cutting is included in the die-cut sticker product.

Common questions

Can I order without a white edge?

The current product is described as a white-edge die-cut sticker. Ask the shop before ordering if your design requires a different construction; do not assume the preview creates an unsupported option.

Should I draw a cutline?

Check with the shop if a specific outline is essential. The current general uploader does not list native vector cutline files as an accepted ordering format.
